The Champaign County Prosecutor's Office will be sponsoring “Ohio Certified Public Records Training” to be presented by the Open Government Unit of the Auditor of State’s Office in accordance with House Bill 9. The free seminar will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. in the Champaign County Community Center Auditorium. All county, municipal, township, village and school board elected officials, department heads and government employees are invited to attend. “Every elected official (or their designee) of a political subdivision is required to have this training at least one time per term of elective office,” said Champaign County Prosecutor Nick A. Selvaggio. “For those who may recall, we last held such a seminar locally in February 2008,” said Prosecutor Selvaggio. Online registration is now available at here |
